Purrista Cat Cafe is a concept for a coffee shop where customers would be able to visit with cats and even apply to adopt them. The vibe is intended to be soft, cozy, and cute, which is perfect for a place to chill and play with cuddly kittens. This was originally created as a logo for the Daily Logo Challenge and branded out.
The logo features a cute orange cartoon cat peeking happily out of a round coffee mug. The mug displays the brand name and a heart-shaped paw print. Variations include a simple outline, a larger paw print in place of the brand name, and interchangeable logo colors.

To fit with the soft and cute theme, pastel shades of pink, blue, and green were chosen. These colors and elements can be easily interchanged to recognizably represent the brand on packaging, merchandise, and signage.
A window sign, t-shirts, mugs, and ad posters were designed to emphasize and expand the brand. The simple but distinct logo and brand identity could very easily and successfully market the brand and business across social media and further merchandise, packaging, menus, and promotional materials.

Merchandise can be an extremely effective method of advertisement and additional profit, so it's important to consider when designing a brand. T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, water bottles, and packaging are a fun way to explore a brand's aesthetic and reach its target customers. These items have been designed with consideration for brand awareness and current trends in mind.
